The “SAFE FOR YOU” certification program was created under the BOT’s National Tourism Regulations for Pandemic Safety which requires tourism-related businesses in the Republic of Palau to be certified in order to service visitors during a pandemic. The purpose of the program is to mitigate health risks for visitors and locals and to promote Palau as a safe and responsible tourism destination. COVID-19 preventative measures, contingency planning and the safety and sanitation guidelines relevant to our business and operation have been met for certification.

Face masks, social distancing, cleaning and disinfecting. We encourage everyone to wear face masks and practice social distancing when in public areas. According to the CDC, viruses may live on surfaces for several hours or even days. That is why we constantly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, stair rails, elevator buttons, etc.

New protocols and procedures will help minimize guest contact with personnel through a streamlined check-in and check-out process from cashless payment to digital registration forms. Enhanced sanitization procedures will be in place at the front desk, in the lobby and across guest touch points.
