The purpose of the program is to mitigate health risks for visitors and locals and to promote Palau as a safe and responsible tourism destination. COVID-19 preventative measures, contingency planning and the safety and sanitation guidelines relevant to our business and operation have been met for certification.

According to the CDC, viruses may live on surfaces for several hours or even days. That is why we constantly clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, stair rails, elevator buttons, etc.
